Andy MohlerSports Producer, KSDK
Now in his fourth decade as Sports Producer at KSDK-TV, Andy Mohler has worn many hats since joining the department on a full-time basis.
A four-time NATAS Emmy Award winner and Missouri Broadcasters Award winner for his longform special productions, Andy also provides digital content for KSDK.com and shoots and edits video that runs in the daily sportscasts.
As a producer, he has contributed to or assisted in over fifty individual and station Emmy-winning entries.
Andy has worked with station legends from Jay Randolph to Frank Cusumano, and prides himself on not just covering the news of the day, but in turning even a series of highlights into a story of the game in short form.
What he’s proudest of is his feature work, bringing out a story that is told by the people in the arena. In addition, he has built a healthy station sports film and video archive that is often used for station projects and sought after for outside works by industry leaders NFL Films and ESPN.
Among his writing credits was a video project with The Sporting News and he is currently working on a manuscript on an NFL shooting star and his importance in league history.
